ICMPC18 brings together researchers, academics, professionals, students, and enthusiasts to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge, while exploring innovative perspectives on music perception and cognition within a rapidly evolving technological and multicultural landscape.

For the first time in Brazil – and in the Global South – the conference will be hosted in São Paulo, a city celebrated for its rich musical diversity and multiculturalism.
